چکیده
Celiac artery compression syndrome (CACS) is a disease caused by celiac the median arcuate ligament (MAL), resulting in intestinal ischemic symptoms. However, clear method for invasive treatment of CACS has not yet been established because limited indications. In particular, only few reports endovascular therapy (EVT) using stents as initial are available. Here, we report case where EVT was performed stent artery, good outcomes. A 59-year-old male patient presented to our hospital with postprandial abdominal pain and diagnosed MAL-induced since contrast computed tomography examination showed stenosis origin. He aware symptoms; therefore, decided treat an treatment. bare metal placed whose lumen well dilated intravascular ultrasound. Consequently, he no longer felt had patency after 15 months. Minimally may be considered first-line CACS.Learning objectiveThe efficacy from established. Specifically, unknown. We can safely perform placement ultrasound maintaining long-term patency. Therefore, minimally CACS.

Hybrid (laparoscopy + stent) treatment of celiac trunk compression syndrome (Dunbar syndrome, median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS))
INTRODUCTION Celiac trunk (CT) compression syndrome caused by the median arcuate ligament (MAL) is a rarely diagnosed disease because of its nonspecific symptoms, which cause a delay in the correct diagnosis. Intestinal ischemia occurs, which causes symptoms of abdominal angina. One method of treatment for this disease is surgical release of the CT - the intersection of the MAL. Laparoscopy is ...

A 71-year-old woman presented to our hospital because pancreatic head cancer was suspected on a medical checkup. Computed tomography showed a 30 mm low-density lesion in the pancreatic head, and the stenosis of the celiac axis (CA) due to the median arcuate ligament (MAL) compression. We made a preoperative diagnosis of pancreatic head cancer and performed laparotomy. Transection of the MAL fai...

متن کاملHemodynamic benefits of celiac artery release for ruptured right gastric artery aneurysm associated with median arcuate ligament syndrome: a case report
BACKGROUND It has been reported that median arcuate ligament syndrome is closely associated with gastric or pancreaticoduodenal artery aneurysms. Hemodynamic state plays an important role in the formation of the aneurysms. These aneurysms are treated with open resection or endovascular exclusion. However, whether revascularization of the celiac artery can prevent the aneurysm formation is unkno...
